Four people were killed in a major crash that closed Farm-to-Market Road 51 north of Springtown Tuesday afternoon.
According to Springtown police, two pickup trucks collided along the 2900 block of FM 51 about two miles north of the intersection with Texas 199 at about 12:45 p.m.
Three of the four occupants of the two vehicles were declared dead at the scene. A fourth person who was injured died after being taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Azle Hospital.
