Seven people have been arrested, linked to a multimillion-dollar cargo theft ring in Grapevine, in connection to a series of warehouse burglaries targeting high-value electronics.
The investigation began in May after a warehouse burglary resulted in the theft of $500,000 worth of Ray-Ban glasses and Oculus goggles. Surveillance footage showed a suspect cutting a hole in a bay door to access and remove merchandise from multiple pallets.
In August, police identified a suspect vehicle near a warehouse known for storing electronics. Drone surveillance confirmed an ongoing burglary, but the suspects narrowly escaped capture, using multiple lookouts throughout the area.
One suspect was apprehended in August, and subsequent investigations led to the arrests of all seven gang members between August and November. Detectives believe the group has been active since at least 2023 and is connected to seven burglaries over the past year.
Authorities have not disclosed the total value of stolen goods but confirmed the group's operations spanned multiple cities.
