7 injured, 2 critically, in South Dallas shooting Thursday night

A shooting in South Dallas on Thursday night left seven people injured, two of them critically, according to Dallas police. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. in the 2700 block of Lenway Street, near Malcolm X Boulevard.

Police responded to reports of gunfire and found multiple victims at the scene. The injured were transported to local hospitals; two are reported to be in critical condition.

As of now, no suspects have been identified, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
