A 10-year-old girl who went missing in Haltom City on Wednesday afternoon was located safely just minutes after an alert went out, police say.
The, who attends Stowe Elementary School, had last been seen on camera walking west on Mack Street towards Haltom Road when she went missing.
After 10 minutes of posting the notice and asking neighbors to check their surroundings, the girl was reported to be found safe.
Haltom City police put out a reminder to parents in their updated post to check in with their children and make sure they go directly home unless notified of changed plans.
