Nearly three months after a man was gunned down outside a South Oak Cliff convenience store police have found the teen suspect they've been looking for.
In June police confirmed the victim Cordney Dawson parked his pick-up truck outside the Exxon Tiger Mart on Ann Arbor near I-35. After Dawson went inside, a thief tried to steal the truck.
Reports say Dawson tried to stop the theft and that's when he was fatally shot.
Now, Dallas police say the thief who shot Dawson is a 17-year-old named Jeremy Wilson is now behind bars at the Dallas County jail on a Capital Murder charge.
