The City of Addison has a fun weekend awaiting you!
Saturday the 15th, they're putting on their Free, Fiesta Noche, celebrating the late Tejano Music Legend, Selena's birthday, officially Selena Day in the State of Texas. It's part of their Addison After Dark series.
Yesenia Saldavar from the City of Addison joined the KRLD Afternoon News team to share more about what to expect.
There will be everything from Selena look alike contest with prizes for adults and kids, to a Selena tribute band and even free Samba lessons.
Not into Selena? Yesenia says, No worries! Enjoy Loteria (Mexican Bingo) in the Beer Garden, learn soccer tips in free adult and kid workshops or make a visit to the Mercado (marketplace) for great Latin American gifts and apparel.
All the fun is happening Saturday April 15th at Addison Circle Park (4970 Addison Circle, Addison, Texas 75001) from 6-10 p.m.
