Adidas is rolling out a sneaker inspired by one of Dallas’ biggest traditions - the State Fair of Texas.
According to a release, the shoe company has partnered with Hibbett, the athletic-inspired clothing retailer, to debut a limited-edition blue-and-white shoe dubbed the “State Fair” Superstar.
The design features Texas-themed details, including nods to the midway and other fairground icons.
Only 1,320 pairs will be available, with the launch set for September 20 at the Hibbett store near Fair Park. A special event that day will include giveaways and fair-inspired activities before the sneaker expands to dozens of stores across North Texas and online.
The “State Fair” Superstar is priced at $100 and will be offered in both adult and kids’ sizes.
