In partnership with the SPCA of Texas, NewsRadio 1080 KRLD brings you 'Adoptable Pet Pals,' a weekly feature to introduce you to animals that are ready for adoption.
KRLD's Kristin Diaz along with Maura Davies from the SPCA highlights the critical need for adopting families at local animal shelters by showcasing an "Adoptable Pet Pal" that has stayed at the shelter too long.

Brees

Say hello to Brees, a precious little guy looking for his loving home! Weighing in at 14 pounds, he’s four years old and pretty shy. However, Brees loves his treats and with a little time, he will show you his playful, fun spirit!
Once comfortable, Bees loves to run around and make people laugh! He’s looking for a home with older kids who will respect his boundaries. Again, time and treats will help a lot. If there are kids age five or younger, please bring them to meet Brees at the meet and greet.
Brees is the cutest Chihuahua/Terrier mix with short, smooth hair. His head is light brown with deep brown eyes and his body is white with one brown spot just above his wagging tail! And those ears—so adorable! Sometimes straight up and sometimes flopped down, Brees is one expressive pooch! Brees hasn’t interacted with many dogs, so if you already have a dog at home, please bring your pal along to the meet and greet, as Brees would love to have confident dog to learn from.
Just like all pets at the SPCA of Texas, Brees has been neutered, microchipped and has had all his age-appropriate vaccines.
