In partnership with the SPCA of Texas, NewsRadio 1080 KRLD brings you 'Adoptable Pet Pals,' a weekly feature to introduce you to animals that are ready for adoption.
KRLD's Kristin Diaz along with Maura Davies from the SPCA highlights the critical need for adopting families at local animal shelters by showcasing an "Adoptable Pet Pal" that has stayed at the shelter too long.
Meet this week's featured Pet Pal, Jojo!

Meet Jojo, the 5-year-old female Great Pyrenees mix weighing 75 pounds, ready to be your best friend and save the day! If you're feeling lonely, Jojo is here to be your ultimate companion. Eager to come home with you, she's a fantastic snuggle buddy and gets along well with other dogs.
More good news—Jojo is great with kids too! No appointment needed, just swing by and let Jojo bring joy and warmth to your home. Visit her at the SPCA of Texas’ Dallas Animal Care Center at 2400 Lone Star Drive any day from noon to 6 p.m. She's eagerly awaiting her forever family!

Sweet Daphne is a beautiful, senior hound mix hoping for a loving forever home! Her gorgeous red coat is complimented by her amber eyes and adorable pink nose. Although a bit shy, Daphne appears regal with her long legs and stoic expression.
Rescued from a cruelty case a few years ago, Daphne has made great progress and is a loving and sweet companion. Although she’s still getting used to leash walks, Daphne loves playing with other dogs and has a soft spot for puppies. In fact, she requires another dog in her forever home to help her acclimate to the new, calm environment.
Her new home needs a secure, fenced backyard. As with all adoptions, it is best to bring all two- and four-legged siblings along to the meet and greet.
Daphne’s foster mom reports that she is low-maintenance, gentle, and sweet. Daphne hasn’t had any accidents inside and does very well when left inside alone.
Meet Dil!

Meet Dil. He’s not a pickle, he’s a dog! This precious and handsome 3-year-old male Terrier/Pittie mix weighs 58 pounds and radiates happiness, seeking a place to call home. Dil is a calm, treat-loving boy who adores cuddles from everyone. He has a slick black coat with a bright, white underbelly and cute little ears!
Excelling on a leash and displaying impeccable manners, he's ready for a loving family to call his own. Dil thrives in a home environment and finds the shelter a little too busy for his taste. He prefers a quiet environment where his precious personality can truly shine.
Dil loved his foster home, where he thrived, and all he needs now is a new place to land with a family who adores him. We know our staff and volunteers do! Dil has experience with other dogs and would love to meet any potential furry siblings for a perfect match.

Known as a "greeter dog" in playgroups, Lenny's joy shines through as he mingles and plays with everyone. In his pod, he's a calm and charming companion, quietly observing the hustle and bustle around him.
According to his foster, Lenny is a sweet and cautious boy who thrives in a relaxed home environment. He loves being brushed, is house-trained, and has a healthy treat appetite.
While he may be a bit shy in public, having another dog around makes a world of difference.
Lenny's foster describes him as sweet and tolerant, enjoying every pet he receives. With each passing day, he becomes more comfortable, showcasing his resilient spirit.
