In partnership with the SPCA of Texas, NewsRadio 1080 KRLD brings you 'Adoptable Pet Pals,' a weekly feature to introduce you to animals that are ready for adoption.
KRLD's Kristin Diaz along with Maura Davies from the SPCA highlights the critical need for adopting families at local animal shelters by showcasing an "Adoptable Pet Pal" that has stayed at the shelter too long.
Meet our featured pet pal: TIGER!

Tiger is a 3-year-old, medium-sized bundle of love and tail wags, ready to fill your heart with joy. Tiger's outgoing and friendly nature makes her the perfect fit for any family. She's the laid-back type who takes life in stride, spreading positive vibes and love wherever she goes. Whether it's a cozy couch hangout or a leisurely walk, Tiger is your loyal, content companion. She's open to being your perfect match for shared love and home. You can meet Tiger any day between noon and 6 p.m. at the SPCA of Texas' Dallas Animal Care Center located at 2400 Lone Star Dr.
Meet Lola!

Meet Lola, a four-year-old mixed breed dynamo with boundless energy and a passion for learning. Lola's intelligence shines as she knows numerous commands, such as sit, shake, down, and wait. This eager-to-please pup loves the thrill of new experiences and the company of her humans during every adventure.
If you're seeking a perky and loyal companion who can keep up with your active lifestyle, Lola is the perfect match.
Lola's dream home includes plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. A spacious yard would be a bonus, but she's also adaptable to apartment living if daily long walks or runs are on the agenda. With kids over the age of 12, Lola would thrive, and their playfulness would surely match her own.

Meet Pyle!

Meet Pyle, a 2-year-old male Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his personality! Pyle is on a mission to find his forever home, and he's looking for a special family who can keep up with his exuberance. To match Pyle's zest for life, it's best if he's in a home with kids who are 12 years or older, just the right age to handle his flamboyance.
Pyle's dream is to have a big, secure yard where he can run, play, and let out all his boundless energy. Can you help him find the place where he truly belongs? And that's not all! Pyle is learning that dogs can be great pals, so if you have other furry friends, he'd be delighted to meet them.
Meet Chester!

Meet Chester, the dashing 3-year-old mixed breed doggo. He’s friendly and fun-loving and fabulous…and he’s waiting to meet you at the SPCA of Texas!
Chester may play it cool, but he knows he's a solid 10/10 in the looks department. His favorite pastime? Splashing around in his mini pool and chasing a ball wherever it goes!
If you're up for endless fun, Chester's your guy. A simple game of fetch is all it takes to become best friends. Whether it's an apartment or a spacious house, Chester's up for it, as long as there are walks and outdoor playtime involved!
Kids? He's eager to meet them and become their new playmate. As for canine companions, Chester brings the energy! Bring them along to see if you've found the perfect match.
Like all pets at the SPCA of Texas, Chester has been neutered, microchipped and has had all his age-appropriate vaccines. He is waiting for his new forever family at the SPCA of Texas Russell E. Dealey Animal Rescue Center, so you’ll need an appointment to meet him. To do that, find his profile at SPCA.org/dogs and click on the “Make an Appointment” button. Chester’s team will take it from there.
