With the busy holiday travel season upon us, expect to see flight attendants and other airline employees picketing at the two main North Texas airports before the end of the month.
Next week, the Association of Professional Flight Attendants who are representing American Airlines flight attendants will do informational picking at DFW Airport and eight other major airports around the country.
And the Union representing Southwest Airlines Flight Dispatchers and Meteorologists will picket at Dallas Love Field on the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Employees say they are worn out after 18 months of understaffed airlines and that basic changes are needed to fix broken scheduling systems.
Plus, the workers say they need more pay to keep up with inflation and make up for years without raises.
