Alaska Airlines is saying goodbye to Dallas Love Field.

Starting this May, Alaska Airlines will start flying in and out of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport only, consolidating their flights in North Texas.

The decision comes after careful consideration, with the last flight out of Love Field scheduled for May 14.

Alaska Air cited the central location and connectivity of DFW as reasons for the move, allowing passengers to connect to cities in the Midwest and along the East Coast through its codeshare partner American Airlines.
