The Aledo school board, at a meeting last night, promises to investigate a new case of racism that is angering many parents.
Yesterday, some residents said they found flyers with the words "Great Sale of Slaves" scattered around Aledo High School, McAnally Intermediate School and the Parks of Aledo neighborhood.
The leaflets reportedly included racial slurs and fictional prices for the supposed "sale."
Parents and others were already outraged about a so-called "slave auction" set up on social media where some Aledo students in SnapChat group appeared to show white students bidding on and trading their black classmates.
