Allen Americans co-owner and former NFL linebacker Myles Jack is arrested on a felony gun charge after police say he fired shots inside his Frisco home and then climbed out a second-story window to escape, authorities said.

Jack was taken into custody and booked into the Denton County Jail on a deadly conduct charge following the incident.

Police responded to reports of gunfire at Jack’s home, where investigators say shots were fired inside the residence, prompting a significant law enforcement response. Authorities say Jack was injured after exiting the home through an upper-level window and was later located and arrested.

Jack, 29, played seven seasons in the NFL after being drafted in the second round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016 and later spending time with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since leaving the league, he has been involved in sports business ventures, including ownership with the Allen Americans, a professional minor-league hockey team based in Collin County.

Court records show Jack remains in custody as the case moves through the legal process. The Allen Americans have not issued a public statement regarding the arrest, and police say the investigation remains ongoing.
