A gun show planned in Allen this sumer has been cancelled.
In an agreement with the city of Allen, Premier Gun Shows has announced the Allen Gun Show planned for July 15 and 16 has been called off.
The announcement comes less than two weeks after the mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlet mall where 8 people were killed and several others injured.
Reports also say another gun show that was scheduled to be held in Bedford in the coming weeks has also been canceled.
The company’s schedule has two more shows scheduled for Allen this year, in September and November. There is no word yet on the status of those shows.
