A planeload of American Airlines passengers arriving from DFW Airport were greeted by police and the FBI at Albuquerque International Airport Sunday.

The FBI's Albuquerque office says only they were responding to a "reported incident involving a commercial airliner."

Nobody -- not the FBI nor American Airlines -- will say what the threat was.

American  flight 928 was not allowed to taxi to the gate. Instead, the nearly 200 passengers were deplaned onto the tarmac using rolling stairs and bused to the terminal.

After the incident was determined to be "non-credible" the passengers had to be re-screened just to go back aboard and retrieve their belongings from the plane.

The return flight to DFW Airport was delayed by more than six hours, arriving last night at 7:45 p.m.
