Annual Arlington Independence Day parade returns

Things seemed almost normal in Arlington yesterday as the city resumed its annual Independence Day parade which was canceled last year due to the Coronavirus.

Thousands of cheering parade-goers lined the two-mile route through downtown and the UT-Arlington campus.

About 150 entries covered the distance including scout troops, classic cars, religious groups, equestrians, motorcycle riders, military units and bands from all six Arlington high schools.
