A man who used a gun to rob an Arlington convenience store last year has been convicted and sentenced to a long stretch in prison.
Almost a year ago, in October of 2022, a Circle K store clerk was threatened with a firearm during a robbery. Police got there quickly and got on the tail of the getaway car which led to a long, high-speed chase through Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Irving.
When he was finally captured, the robber was identified as Troy Kelley who was tried and convicted of aggravated robbery.
On Wednesday, Kelley was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
