A man is in the hospital after a car went into the water at Lake Arlington late Sunday night.
Just past 9 p.m. Arlington police, paramedics and a fire department water rescue crew were called out to Bowman Springs Park on the south side of the lake. A rescue boat was immediately launched to begin the search with divers in the water.
Less than an hour later, a man was rescued from the water and CPR was started immediately. That victim was rushed to the hospital with what were believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The investigation continues into how the car ended up in the lake.
