Arlington police have arrested three people in relation to the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old outside a motel on South Cooper.
Police said that on Tuesday afternoon 19-year-old Mareon Robertson was sitting in the backseat of a car with two of the suspects when they tried to rob him.
When Robertson tried to get away, police say a third man shot and killed him.
On Wednesday, police got a tip that one of the suspects was spotted in the area of West Randol Mill Road and Fielder Road. Police searched the area and found all three of them hiding in a drainage ditch.
The suspects - 17-year-old Joseph Garcia, 18-year-old Toby Garcia, and 45-year-old James Capps - all face capital murder charges.
