Arlington police have two suspects behind bars this morning in connection with a murder from 2019.
Police say 18-year-old Hector Salazar was shot and killed in November of last year outside a home on Summer Place Drive in Arlington.
Police say he had arranged a drug deal with three other men and they tried to rob him. One of those suspects wound up in the hospital in Mansfield that same evening with a gunshot wound.
Police arrested 20-year-old Kejuan Davion McCray on Monday. They say evidence links him to 19-year-old Tevin Tymon Phillips, who was arrested earlier this month.
Police also identified 18-year-old Michael Joseph Hanes-White as a suspect in last year's shooting but say he was shot and killed in a car near a grocery store in north Fort Worth last month.
