An Arlington woman has been identified as the victim who died yesterday in a head-on crash on Matlock just south of I-20.
Police say Jamayiah Sargent was a passenger in a car driven by her boyfriend, Bronson Kibler , who is now accused of driving drunk.
Police explain that Kibler was heading north on Matlock when he veered into oncoming traffic, slammed into a power pole and then continued north in the wrong lane until he crashed into a BMW.
The driver and a passenger in the BMW were seriously injured and were rushed to the hospital.
Sargent died at the scene. She and Kibler are the parents of a baby who also in the car but was not hurt.
Kibler was jailed on a charge of Intoxication Assault With A Vehicle causing Serious Bodily Injury and a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter With a Vehicle.
