A man is behind bars in a high-profile murder case in Fort Worth.
Last week, the body of a woman later identified as Janeecia Mason was found under a bridge in Hurst.
Her friends and family have been pleading for justice. Mason's mother says she last heard from her daughter on March 17th. She says she learned Mason was at a Dallas motel with friends and was last seen getting into a red car. That's the last she was seen alive.
On March 23rd, her body was found under a bridge on Precinct Line Road near Hurst Boulevard.
On Thursday, Fort Worth police arrested a man named Joseph Aparicio in connection with her death. He is being held in the Tarrant County jail on a murder charge.
