Arson investigators still can't say what caused a fire that heavily damaged a home in the Fort Worth Poly neighborhood Monday night.
The home was left so structurally unsound that even on Tuesday, it was not safe to go inside.
The owner of the home has said he smelled gasoline as the fire was raging through his home on Avenue K less than a mile east of Highway 287. But arson investigators were out there Tuesday and they are not confirming that.
Until the structure is stabilized to make it safe, investigators won't be able to say for sure what caused the fire.
