The Artemis II astronauts have broken the record of how far humans have travelled from the Earth.
The crew took the moment to honor the astronauts who traveled to the Moon before them.
"We most importantly choose this moment to challenge this generation and the next to make sure this record is not long-lived," the crew reported back to Earth.
The crew also took the time to encourage NASA to give names to two relatively new unnamed craters on the Moon.
One of those names was in honor of Wiseman's wife Carroll who passed away of cancer in 2020.
The Artemis II crew broke the previous record of farthest distance from the Earth set by the Apollo 13 crew.
