The Super Bowl is over, but football is no longer just a fall and winter sport. There's a brand new pro football league that kicks off its new season this weekend in North Texas.
The city of Arlington is part of the brand-new XFL. This is the resurrection of a league that originally played in 2001, and came back right before the pandemic in 2020.
Dwayne Johnson bought the rights to the league the next year... and it's ready to go on Saturday.
One of the returning teams is the Arlington Renegades. They'll play their games at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington.
