The Almanac also predicted the hurricane that would hit Louisiana to the day.
It's tough to make mass predictions of weather so far in advance and the Farmers Almanac has been doing it for more than 200 years.
On Ask The Expert, we talked with Peter Geiger, he's the managing editor for the Farmers Almanac.
He talked about what we could look for in the upcoming winter.
