There seems to be a trend happening in face mask wearing. People are doubling up. The idea has been supported by health experts around the world and now our very own, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
On Tuesday's Ask the Expert, President of the Dallas County Medical Society, Dr. Beth Kassanoff Piper joined the KRLD Afternoon News to talk more in depth about the issue.
She says doubling up can increase the restriction of spreading germs and help filter what you are breathing in in your environment. The stronger mask should be worn closest to your face. For example, wearing an N95 with maybe a cloth mask on top.
Each day on the KRLD Afternoon News we ask the experts what you want to know about something going on in the news.
