South Oak Cliff High School claimed the state 5-A Division Two state championship on Saturday. They defeated Liberty Hill high school 23 to 14 at AT&T Stadium. It's the first time that a Dallas ISD school has won a high school football championship in decades.

In the 6-A Division One championship game. Duncanville lost to Galena Park-North Shore by a score of 17 to 10. North Shore previously beat Duncanville to claim the championship in 2018 and 2019.
