Azle man jailed at the end of a long, winding chase

A motorcyclist who tried to get away from Parker County deputies Thursday is now locked up on an evading arrest charge.

Reports say a deputy tried to stop Scott Bradley in Azle because there was no license plate on his Suzuki motorcycle. But Bradley took off toward Tarrant County with the deputy right behind.

The chase got on Highway 199 heading southeast to Loop 820 and then south to I-20 and then looped around back into Parker County, taking 20 west-bound to Weatherford where he got off on Fort Worth Highway where he again turned around and started going the wrong way against traffic in an attempt to escape.

But by this time, numerous squad cars were involved in the chase and they surrounded him near FM 730.

Bradley was quickly handcuffed and hauled to the jail not only on an evading arrest charge but also on a warrant out of Arlington for criminal trespass. They also found meth and marijuana in his backpack so further charges are possible.
