Friday begins another tax-free weekend across Texas. This one is in the spirit of back to school.
Texas Comptroller Don Huffines says there are several items that qualify. Most of the items must cost $100 or less in total value.
"Let me tell you about some things that you might not suspect would be on there," Huffines said. "Diapers and some kids supplies and things like that."
One thing to keep in mind is the total cost for any individual item must consider any addition fees. That includes shipping and other fees.
The tax-free weekend runs from Friday through Sunday.
