The Baylor Bears have been selected as one of the four top seeds in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament which begins this week.
With a record of 22-and-2, Baylor is the top seed in the South Regional, playing the 16th seeded Hartford Hawks Friday afternoon.
The other three top seeds are Illinois, Michigan and the undefeated Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Several other Texas schools are also in the field. In the East Regional, third-seeded Texas will play 14th-seed Abilene Christian.
In the South Regional, UNT is seeded 13th and plays 4th-seed Purdue.
Also in the South, number six seed Texas Tech will play 11th-seeded Utah State.
And in the Midwest Regional, second seed Houston meets 15th-seeded Cleveland.
