A contractor hit a four-inch gas line near a school in Bedford and everyone inside was evacuated Thursday early afternoon.
It happened near the intersection of Harwood Road and Park Avenue, which is close to Meadow Creek Elementary School.
While Atmos is on the scene working on repairs, kids from the school have been moved to Harwood Junior High. Harwood Road is closed between Park Avenue and Martin Drive
