After not being allowed to attend each of the last two Texas football games, which both happened to be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Bevo will be on the sidelines at the Cotton Bowl on Friday, Jan. 10.

The Texas football program posted on Twitter Friday morning, "Breaking: the big guy is headed to Arlington."

Officials at Mercedes-Benz Stadium said there wasn't enough room for Bevo on the sidelines for the SEC Championship Game against Georgia on Dec. 7 or during the College Football Playoff quarterfinal game against Arizona State on Jan. 1.

The last time Texas played Georgia in a bowl game was in the 2019 Sugar Bowl, when Bevo charged the Bulldogs' mascot Uga during a pregame photo opp.
