Big Lots announces closure in some North Texas stores

Texas isn't immune from the closings of Big Lots stores around the country.

Big Lots filed for Chapter 11, originally saying it wouldn't close any stores in Texas. That's changed. The bankruptcy filing shows it's closing six stores in north Texas. Those are the ones in Fort Worth, Frisco, and Richardson, two in Dallas, and one in Terrell.

Big Lots will close stores in nine other Texas cities as well.
