Today's the day Big Tex lays down for his long winter nap.
With the State Fair ending on Sunday, workers will gather around the big guy at Fair Park today at 10 a.m. to begin the process of taking Big Tex down and putting him in storage for another year.
The 2022 State Fair begins on September 30th.
