Billy Bob's in Fort Worth is offering a tribute to Lorretta Lynn, the country music legend who died Tuesday at the age of 90.
Lynn performed at Billy Bob's 11 times and the club is remembering her with a Facebook post saying "In Loving Memory. Loretta Lynn 1932-2022" over a 2002 photo of Lynn on stage at Billy Bob's.
A statement from the honky-tonk says "it is with heavy hearts we share that our friend Loretta Lynn has passed away at the age of 90. She left her mark in country music and inspired so many. Loretta’s first show at The World’s Largest Honky Tonk was February 11, 1983 and we were blessed to have her play 10 more shows after that. Cementing her mark on the club with her handprints on June 7, 1997, she will forever be in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones."
Lynn also performed repeatedly for her North Texas fans in other venues like Bass Hall, Arlington Music Hall, House of Blues, the Majestic Theater and the Winspear Opera House.
