Birdville school superintendent Darrell Brown is retiring after about ten years on the job, capping 37 years in public education.
Brown announced his decision yesterday, saying the retirement is effective at the end of June.
The Birdville school board will meet on February 25th to discuss their next steps, including plans to hire a search firm.
