North Texas mega-church pastor TD Jakes claims he's been the subject of hundreds of YouTube videos, misinforming viewers about his relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs. He wants You Tube to do more about it.
In the last year, Jakes claims he has been the subject of hundreds of YouTube videos that have received millions of views, misinforming those who watch about the relationship he had with Sean Diddy Combs, with whom Jakes has been associated in the past.
He claims that an onslaught of misinformation has hit the site, often using AI images to link the pastor and other black celebrities to Diddy's parties. Jakes has not defended Combs in the wake of his legal troubles... but has defended himself from false and absurd videos about him, according to the suit.
He wants the videos taken down and for the site to provide the addresses of those responsible for them. Jakes may pursue defamation litigation against the people behind the YouTube channels, the motion said.
YouTube has yet to comment.
