This month is an exciting one for the Dallas culinary scene. This weekend, the Dallas Arboretum and Dallas College will be hosting Bits and Bites, a celebration of the amazing cuisine and talent in North Texas. It's happening on Sunday from 6-8 p.m.
Dallas College Senior Director of Workforce Initiatives Steve DeShazo joined the KRLD Afternoon News on Thursday to chat about what makes this event so special.
Bits and Bites will showcase top Dallas chefs and serve more than 18,000 plates of food. Ticket purchases provide funding for Dallas College student scholarships and programs.
