If you soon treat yourself to carton of Strawberry Lemonade-flavored ice cream from Blue Bell, you have Midlothian teenager Madelyn Dodd to thank for it.
She pitched the idea for a new flavor to Blue Bell over the summer, and they agreed it was a good idea!
Dodd recently revealed a letter from Blue Bell CEO Ricky Dickson, personally thanking her for the idea.
Per NBC DFW, Blue Bell says the flavor is “a combination of strawberry ice cream swirled with lemonade sherbert, and sprinkled with lemon flavored flakes.”
