It may take until tomorrow for the Dallas County Medical Examiner to identify the body pulled from Lake Ray Hubbard this morning.

Just after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, officials say the body was discovered near the Rowlett Road bridge.

Detective Jaqueline Vergara says family members of a reported missing person found the body at the lake.

"At this point we can't identify the body due to decompisition" said Detective Vergara.

The missing man had disappeared Saturday.

Police say the recent excessive heat has led to a rapid decomposition, leaving it up to the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death. However, officials say foul play is not suspected.
