Due to reduced water pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has issued a boil water notice for all customers served by the City of Crowley's public water system.
City officials said residents should boil water before drinking it, using it for cooking, brushing teeth or making ice until the notice is lifted.
The advisory was issued as a precaution after a loss of system pressure. Officials will notify customers when the water is safe to use without boiling.
