Bond has been set for Phillip Hughes, the Richland Hills man accused of stabbing his own grandson to death on New Year's Day.
Hughes was arrested Sunday but did not make a court appearance until Monday when a judge set Hughes' bail at $2 million.
In lieu of making bail, he will be locked up in the Lon Evans Correction Center down the street from the Tarrant County Court House.
On Sunday morning, Hughes' 8-year-old grandson Brenym McDonald was found stabbed to death in a bedroom at Hughes' Richland Hills home.
Police have not released any other details of the stabbing while the investigation continues.
