A Boswell High School student is facing charges for stabbing a classmate on campus Wednesday.
Investigators say the two students were arguing over a girl. The victim was stabbed in the back with a steak knife and remains in stable condition.
The attacker was detained but police have not divulged the precise charge. The school was put in lockdown during the investigation but returned to their normal schedule.
Extra security was laid on for last night's homecoming carnival which proceeded without incident.
