First, he was made an honorary Fort Worth Police officer; now, he's an angel.
Rylan Pruitt, 6, died of cancer Thursday afternoon following a brave battle.
Back in January, more than a thousand people participated in a parade for his sixth birthday.
Weeks later, Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes swore Rylan in as an honorary police officer.
Just one week ago, Rylan got a hero's welcome at Alliance Airport following his flight from Memphis, where he learned following a body scan at St. Jude's hospital that cancer had spread throughout his entire body and had, at most, a few months to live.
