The boy who was fatally shot in Fort Worth Monday night has now been identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
About 10:30 p.m. Sunday a private vehicle brought a badly wounded 12-year-old boy to Cook Children's hospital but the Medical Examiner says young Treyshawn Eunes died about a half-hour later.
Police learned that Treyshawn had been shot outside a business on Brentwood Stair Road near Meadowbrook Golf Course. It's not clear what he was doing there at that time of night about four miles from his home in the Fort Worth Poly neighborhood.
No arrests have been announced.
