Homeowners in Wise and Denton counties have some repairs and clean-up to do because of last night's storms.
Heavy weather rocked North Texas with vivid lightning, ferocious winds and hail the size of golf balls. The hardest hit areas were north of Tarrant and Dallas counties.
No precipitation at all was recorded at Dallas Love Field while nearly an inch was measured in Decatur where numerous homes have broken windows from the hail.
Social media posts show video and pictures of damage to cars and hail turning the ground white.
Despite videos showing repeated lightning bolts in Wise and Denton counties, Oncor reported virtually no power outages.
