One hundred Dallas-Fort Worth area high school student-athletes participated in the third Camp Exposure football camp for free over the weekend in Highland Park.

It's much more than just a football camp though, these kids were coached on specific life courses such as mental and spiritual health, nutrition, professional development and much more.

The community was invited to enjoy a free day of events Sunday that included watching a 7-on-7 tournament involving the athletes at the camp. It was hosted at Highlander Stadium at Highland Park High School.

Camp Organizer and co-founder, Lubbock Smith III joined the KRLD Afternoon News on Friday to share more on the unique edge this three-day camp gives student-athletes.
