A man is locked up after crashing his car into a North Richland Hills home that caught fire at the end of a police chase.
Police say Daniel Laseman was arrested at the scene on several charges including DWI and Evading Arrest.
It all started when police tried to pull him over late Saturday night but they say Laseman hit the gas. The officers chased him until he smashed into a home on Hightower Drive.
The impact started a fire but North Richland Hills firefighters doused it before anyone inside was hurt.
Laseman did not seem to be injured either, so he was quickly jailed at the North Richland Hills Joint Detention Facility.
